Our café opened its doors on October 1, 2022. Since it’s opening, our café has been widely accepted by locals, neighboring cities, and travelers seeking Cuban Food. Since opening, we have maintained 5-star reviews, currently at 4.9 (Google). What makes us unique from other Cuban cafes is the location in Cocoa Village. We have the best corner located in the Biergarten, very cozy, tropical environment, and Cuban Jazz played on the radio, and let’s not forget the views to the Banana River, across from the park. Our menu has also been widely accepted. We offer a variety of offer Cuban sandwiches, with the most popular being the El Cubano. The El Cubano Cuban sandwich put Café de Havana in the spotlight in just under a year of being in business. We received recognition from two local newspapers, for having the best top 10 Cuban sandwich in Brevard County and the State of Florida. Thanks to this recognition, we continued to grow in popularity in the area. In addition to our Cuban sandwiches, we also serve Cuban coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, pastries, and other savory items which are made daily. The City of Cocoa, or City of Cocoa Village Leisure Services schedule lots of different events, from concerts, wine walks, arts and craft events, car shows, yoga events, parades and other events. These events do bring lots of traffic to the village, which has allowed us to double our sales. Traffic is constant in Cocoa Village and the opportunities are endless. The location is everything. The German restaurant in the Biergarten, also has live entertainment, from local bands, karaoke and other entertainment, which also bring traffic. Our goal was to take Café de Havana to another level of growth for the upcoming year, however, due to personal circumstances, we have decided to sell the café. The café and location definitely have endless growth opportunities.
